HOW IT ALL WORKS

During the coaching process I lead you through a process to find your values and your beliefs, and what you want in your life. I guide you in setting your goals. My mission, as your coach, is to provide that safe and life-changing space for YOU to uncover the answers inside of you so that you can move forward with purpose.

TOGETHER WE CAN

Set clear goals of what you want to achieve

Develop an action plan on how to achieve your goal

Clear the negative thoughts and cultivate the right mindset.

HOW IT WORKS

A coaching session can be a structured session or just a conversation. By means of creating a safe, positive, non-judgemental and objective environment, the coachee is able to open-up, self-discover and effectively work with me, as the coach.

Normally, I like to think of a coaching session in terms of a 6-step process:

1. ESTABLISH THE OBJECTIVE

At the start of any coaching interaction, we need to establish a clear purpose. Why are you here?

Is it developmental – seeking to optimize strengths; career – preparing for another role; or, performance – overcoming obstacles/challenges or dealing with gaps in performance?

We must confirm this objective and be on the same page as this ensures mutual understanding in the coaching relationship.

2. UNDERSTANDING THROUGH ASKING INSIGHTFUL QUESTIONS

I, as your coach, will ask insightful & probing questions. It will require active listening. It will also require that we should be comfortable with ‘silence’ and be open to seeing the situation through multiple lenses.

3. PROVIDE FEEDBACK

This can be a positive and insightful experience when the coach shares observations in an objective and non-judgemental way. Hearing these fact-based observations and suggestions can be very powerful and can lead to the coachee increasing self-awareness and the seeing of new ideas that they had never thought of before.

4. IDENTIFYING YOUR GOALS

The setting of goals and the moving forward towards the achievement of the goal means taking action, taking responsibility, being accountable to yourself for your own life. Once this is happening, it is a very satisfying experience to see how goals that were set are being achieved.

5. SUPPORT & ENCOURAGEMENT

The recognition of the goals being met, celebrating and encouraging wins together with encouraging the coachee to push onwards through challenges will support in the implementation of action plans.

6. LETTING GO AND MOVING FORWARD

Here focus is on what you have learnt about yourself, what you are ready to release and say goodbye to because it no longer serves you. We get underneath those limiting beliefs and fears that keep you stuck and prevent you moving forward.

We create a new space inside of yourself to take new risks that feel more YOU and more aligned to your truth. Your will learn to create distance from your Inner Critic.
